PPP35016: Stadtgas Anlage für Panther D

Paper Panzer Productions 35016 Panther Stadtgas
Product picture gallery
As WWII progressed gasoline became an increasingly scarce commodity in Germany. In order to save precious fuel the panzer driving schools (Panzer Fahrschule) frequently used vehicles equipped with a Stadtgas (city gas) installation. Known examples are the Panzer IV, STUG III, Marder III, Tiger I,… and the Panther. The Fahrschule Panther used six Stadtgas bottles, three on each side, in brackets attached to a platform. A system of conduits and nozzles ran over the engine deck to connect the bottles to the Panther’s fuel system. Because of the obvious safety risks vehicles with Stadtgas were only used for training and didn’t see combat.

PPP35016 Stadtgas Anlage für Panther D contains six resin Stadtgas bottles, three conduit nozzles, a full PE set for the brackets and platform and plenty of copper wire for the conduits. It fits all 1/35 Panther D models.

PPP35016 Panther Stadtgas is available at 20€ (TAV included, shipping not included). A shop will be added to Paperpanzer.com in the future. In the meantime contact us for more information and purchases.
